No fewer than five residents of Aderogba, Bayerunka, Ogboriefon, all in Labiran, Ibadan South East Local Government Areas (LGA) of Ibadan, Oyo State capital were killed on Saturday.
Residents in an interview with Daily Trust on Sunday lamented hoodlums’ attacks, looting of many homes, shops in the area, and setting them ablaze.

The crisis that led to destruction of lives and properties was said to have started between hoodlums from Ogboriefon, Beyerunka and Iyana Aderogba, Obasanjo Street, Ibadan.
One of the victims whose house was burnt by the hoodlums, Mrs Modinat Afunleyi, said she has been having a sleepless night since Thursday, adding that she couldn’t take her bath nor change her clothes.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident said six suspects have been arrested in connection with the attack.
