5 killed in Kogi auto crash

Five people have been killed and three others injured in a road accident at Ogbagbo Junction on the Ejule- Ochadamu road in Ofu LGA of Kogi State.

A witness said the crash occurred when a Nissan collided with a Mazda.

City & Crime learnt that one of the drivers lost control while trying to dodge a pothole and his car veered off its lane and collided with another car.

The state’s Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Stephen Dawulung, confirmed the incident, saying that it occurred around 1pm on Sunday.
