5 held for vandalising rail track, burglary in Kwara

Five persons were on Tuesday paraded by the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) over vandalisation of a rail track and burglary.

The suspects are Waheed Ganiyu and Mojeed Afolabi (rail track) and Shehu Nurudeen (burglary).

Two others, Abdulwahab Mustapha and Isaiah, were arrested for receiving the burgled goods.

NSCDC spokesperson in the state, Olasunkanmi Ayeni, said the suspects were arrested while vandalising rail tracks in Ogbondoroko, Asa LGA.

He said that the burglar broke into a house in Warah, Lubcon area of Ilorin West LGA, and stole a laptop, a wristwatch and phones.
