The police in Ekiti State have arrested five cultists and drug barons.
The suspects are Adewumi Gboyega, Temitope Oyeyemi, Kazeem Ayomide, Adewumi Praise and Olayinka Emmanuel.
The police spokesman in the state, ASP Sunday Abutu, in a statement yesterday, said on February 18, at about 02:00 hours the command received a tip-off that a group of cultists was sighted in a hotel in Ikere-Ekiti.

Abutu said the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) rushed there and arrested the suspects and recovered three raps of Arizona hemp, 50 raps of cocaine, 15 packs of Loud hemp, 20 raps of Indian hemp, 10 lighters, a knife and N76,900.
Abutu added that during interrogation, the suspects confessed to being illicit drug dealers.
