The Rivers State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission, (FRSC), Umoh Etuk confirmed yesterday that five persons lost their lives in a motor accident at the Rumuokwuta axis of Port Harcourt.
The Sector Commander told newsmen in Port Harcourt that the incident happened in the early hours of yesterday when two vehicles collided, killing two males and three females and injuring many other people.
He said the accident could have been avoided if both drivers were careful, and called on motorists to be safety conscious and observe all the traffic rules while driving.a
