The Hausa community in Takum LGA of Taraba State said they have buried five people who were killed when suspected Kuteb militia attacked their quarters.
A member of the community, Yakubu Sani, told City & Crime that 18 other members of the community were still missing.
He said it was strongly believed that those missing were killed because the area they lived was the first to be attacked.
Sani explained that the area was deserted since Sunday and that it was dangerous to go to the area, adding that despite a curfew imposed in the area, gunshots were heard in the Hausa quarters on Monday.
