4th Mainland Bridge will spur dev’t – LASG

The Lagos State Government on Saturday said that the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge will make room for expansion, curb gridlock and bring development to neighbouring communities.

The Special Adviser (SA) on Works and Infrastructure to the governor, Mrs Aramide Adeyoye, said this at a stakeholders’ meeting with some boundary communities in Lagos and Ogun states.

The meeting, which took place in Isheri Estate, Ogun, was for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (EIA) of the proposed 4th Mainland Bridge on Arepo, Opic, Isheri, Igbogbo Baiyeku, Agric-Owutu, Ishawo, Tapa and other adjoining communities.

Mrs Adeyoye, who was represented by Mr Tokunbo Ajanaku, sought the help of the stakeholders towards the execution of the 37-kilometre road with 16 routes, adding that three bids were in their final stages and captured the interests of the communities in mitigating environmental impacts.
