The deceased had earlier been declared missing since Sunday morning when he left home without telling his pregnant wife.
Olatunji’s lifeless body was found dangling on a tree in a nearby swamp, according to the residents of the area that discovered him.
Some traditionalists performed rituals before cutting the body loose from the rope with which he hanged himself.
A traditionalist in the area who preferred anonymity told Daily Trust that the rites were necessary to prevent incessant tragedies in the community.
