About 400 households have benefitted from Ramadan food package distributed in the three states of the federation.
The Nigerian Office of the International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO), which gave the package, said it is spending N5.4m on its Ramadan palliatives for the vulnerable members of the society this year. The states the first phase are Niger, Osun and Oyo with three other states. Nasarawa, Kaduna and Lagos will also benefit when more funds are released.

The Country Director of IICO, Alhaji AbdulWasiu Zubair Adeshina, said the organization with headquarters in Kuwait was established to assisting people in times of natural disaster.
