4 victims escape as kidnappers doze off in Kaduna

Four among 19 abducted victims escaped after their abductors dozed off in Kudiri Forest in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.

City & Crime had reported that bandits last Saturday invaded Kudiri village, killed two villagers, abducted 19 others and also stole foodstuff.

Confirming the escape of the victims through telephone on Monday, a relative of two of the victims, Yahaya Bala, said two of his brothers and two others escaped from their abductors on Friday, around 11am after their abductors smoked, drank wine and slept off.

Bala said the victims were currently receiving treatment in a hospital in Jere town.

There was no response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command on the development.
