4 Suleja kidnap victims released after ransom

The woman who was abducted along with her two sons, and another girl in Chaza area of Suleja, Niger State, have been released and reunited with their families.

The victims who were held hostage for two days  were abducted by gunmen on Monday night.

A source in the area told our reporter yesterday that a ransom was paid before their release, though he could not confirm the actual amount.

He said all the released persons were taken to the hospital for medical examination as they were traumatised.

Head of the family who is a civil servant working in Abuja, was himself abducted about five months ago, but was not at home when the gunmen arrived the last time.
