A Lagos State magistrates’ court in the Ogba area has ordered the remand in prison of four people over the alleged killing of Kazeem Idowu Keshinro, a civil servant with Ikosi-Ejirin LGA.
The defendants, Mukaila Salau, known as Actor; Tiyamiyu Ahmed; Wasiu Suleimon and Ibrahim Ekemode, were charged before Magistrate Lateef Owolabi on a two-count charge.
The charge filed by the police read that the suspects, on April 1, 2024, at about 0900 hours at Otta Ikosi Agbowa in Lagos conspired to commit the crime contrary to Section 299 of the Criminal Laws Cap. Ch.Vol.3 Laws of Lagos State, 2015, and unlawfully killed Idowu Keshinro contrary to Section 233 of the Criminal Laws Cap. Ch.Vol.3 Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
The state counsel, who represented the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), prayed for a remand order pending when the office would issue advice for their arraignment at the state high court.

Mr Owolabi granted the request and ordered that the suspect be remanded in the Kirikiri prison and adjourned to October.
City 7 Crime further reports that the victim, who was also a hunter, in a video, was seen soaked in his own blood after his body was riddled with bullets.
It was gathered that the video was shot after he went hunting in the Ota area of Ikorodu and was allegedly ambushed, shot severally and macheted on the orders of Actor, a notorious land grabber, who was present at the scene.
