4 professors vie for ABUTH’s CMD

Four professors at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria are battling to become the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the university’s teaching hospital.

The outgoing CMD of the hospital, Professor Lawal Khalid, yesterday confirmed to our correspondent that the selection interview took place on Thursday, April 4, 2019.

Those who attended the interview are Professor Hamidu Ahmed, Deputy Provost of the ABU’s School of Medical Sciences and Director of the Sickbay, ABU’s campus hospital, Professor Bakari Adamu Girei, a former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Mohammed Sani Shehu and Professor Isma’il Dahiru.
