According to traders, the cultists allegedly went on rampage after three members of theirgang were killed last Tuesday afternoon around the market.

Angered by the murder of their members, the rival gang stormed the market in retaliation and shot sporadically to scare butchers off, and thereafter killed God-Do-Well.

Daily Trust gathered that the Tuesday killings were as a result of lingering bad blood over control of the town by a cult group, known as “Islanders” and a group called “Bobos.”
