4 killed in Kano road accident

A road accident has claimed the lives of four persons while many others sustained injuries near Dinyar Madiga village in Takai LGA of Kano State.

Spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abudullahi, said it was reported that a motorbike carrying three people attempted to overtake a bus which resulted in a collision that caused the bus to overturn and catch fire.

He said, “Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters discovered four people unconscious and managed to rescue six others, including the bus driver.

“Medical attention was immediately provided to those injured who were transported to the Takai NYSC Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors later confirmed the deaths of four individuals.”
