Four suspected bandits have been neutralised and seven abducted victims rescued after soldiers raided a bandits’ camp in the Kasangwai Forest in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State.
A resident, Labaran Shehu, said the raid was carried out on Monday around 4pm when the troops, led by two hunters, stormed the forest.
He said that the seven rescued victims, including two women, were abducted on their farms from neighbouring Sardauna village.
A community leader who confirmed the incident, said that the bandits retreated after they were overpowered.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Hassan Mansur, could not be reached for comment.
