Four people were injured as residents fled their homes after a fresh attack by armed men on their communities in Benue State.
Our correspondent reports that the villages of Nagi and Tse-Girgi Dajo in Gwer West LGA came under attacks between Tuesday and Thursday.
A resident told our correspondent by telephone that Nagi was attacked on Tuesday during which several people were injured, while Tse-Girgi Dajo came under siege earlier on Tuesday.
The Chairman of Gwer West LGA, Andrew Ayande, confirmed the development to our correspondent on telephone, stating however that four people were injured in the two attacks.

Contacted, police spokesperson in the state, SP Catherine Anene, said the command received information that there was going to be an attack on Nagi area, adding that there had been none so far except that the people might be fleeing their homes out of fear.
