4 ex-convicts nabbed over robbery in Niger

 The police in Niger State have arrested four ex-convicts, Yahaya Mohammed; Ayuba Simon, alias Douglas; Menasse Makama and Nuhu Azuka, alias Junior, over alleged robbery in the Brighter Area of Minna, the state capital.

 The commands spokesman, SP Wasiu Abiodun, said the suspects were arrested after robbing a victim of his Honda Odyssey and other valuables.

 Abiodun said during interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and other previous thuggery and armed robberies that earned them jail terms.

 He said the confessions of the suspects led to the recovery of the Honda Odyssey with Reg No: AG 400 PAK, one POS machine, a Samsung TV, two standing fans and other valuables in their possession.

 The police also paraded a 53-year-old man, Abdullahi Imman, alias Abba, a resident of Tayi village in Minna, for allegedly engaging in sexual exploitation of children in his shop.

 Abiodun said that during interrogation, the suspect confessed that he usually lured children between the ages of six and 11, both boys and girls, with biscuits and sweets after which he abused them using his fingers.
