Halliru told Daily Trust that the crash was the most fatal accident recorded during the festive period. He said the accident involved a DAF truck with registration number KU 304 SD and a pick up van. Four persons died on the spot while the injured were rushed to hospital. He advised road users to always adhere to safety rules especially in the “ember” months which are associated with high rate of movement.
