The Oyo State Police Command has arrested four men during a transaction to sell a stolen trailer for N2.5 million in Ojoo area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Williams, who paraded the suspects, said the trailer was stolen from Sanyo area of Ibadan.

According to him, the truck was packed at a roadside after it developed fault, but that before the driver arrived with a mechanic, the thieves had repaired it and taken it to Ojoo area and were negotiating to sell it for N2.5m.
He gave the names of the suspects as Adams Mudasiru, Moses Adeyemo, Salami Isiaka and Wasiu Adeleke.
Adebowale explained that: “One Hakim Bello Owolarafe, owner of a Mack truck with Reg No: LSD 579 YA, reported at the Sanyo Police Division, Ibadan, that he gave the truck valued at N16m to Ibrahim Olawale (driver) and that he parked the vehicle on the Ibadan Expressway around Sanyo area on May 21, 2022, due to some faults. He stated further that when the driver returned to the place where he parked the vehicle, he discovered that it had been removed.
“Based on investigation and credible intelligence, Adams Mudasiru was arrested with the stolen truck at Ojoo area where he wanted to sell it to Moses Adeyemo and Salami Isiaka at the rate of N2.5m.”
