4 arrested for stealing coal in Kogi

Soldiers on board the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Lugard, have arrested four persons, Abdulrazak Danjuma, Idris Abdullahi, Suleiman Ibrahim and Musa Muhammed, suspected to have stolen metallurgical coal in the Ajaokuta Steel Company in Kogi State.

The Commander of NNS Luguard, Moses Epelle, said the suspects were arrested on April 4, 2024, after a tip off.

He said, “The four suspects gained access to the jetty of the company through the waterway on a wooden boat which was loaded with about 400 bags of the materials. They wanted to convey the materials to an unidentified destination.
