The 35th Jos North annual Qur’an Recitation Competition has commenced in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The competition was opened with a call on well-to-do individuals to sponsor students studying Qur’an to Master’s degree and PhD levels. The chairman of the local organising committee of the event, Sheikh Aminu Sadis Abdullahi, made the appeal at the formal opening of the 2021 competition.
He said from inception of the competition, students of the Qur’an in the local government areas have been excelling in different spheres of life.
