A magistrates’ court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, has ordered the remand of a 30-year-old man, Alli Hassan, for threatening to kill his father, Hassan Auta, and step-mother in Ifelodun LGA.
The accused, according to the charge sheet, returned home late in the night and was heavily drunk and “ordered the father’s wife to park out of the house and also told the father to leave or else he would behead them both. It was the ensuing disturbance that attracted the intervention of the residents.”
