Thirty people held in captivity by bandits in the Danko Wasagu area of Kebbi State have been rescued.
Those rescued are from Kontagora in Niger State, Danmari, Kaba and Kajiji in Zamfara State and Bena in Kebbi State.
The Chairman, Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area, Alhaji Useni Aliyu Bena disclosed this to journalists at the weekend.

He also commended the state government for working hand-in-hand with security agents and giving them support to ensure that the bandits were flushed out and those held in captivity were rescued.
