3 worshippers burnt to death in church

Five others including a pregnant woman, Sade Oyediran, escaped death in the fire which started at about 2:00am.
Witnesses said the fire which began from a room attached to the back of the church spread to other parts and consumed the power generating set which was filled with petrol, resulting in an explosion that aggravated it. It went on for over three hours, killing the two men and a woman.  
The roof of the church and the entire wooden and plastic chairs were completely burnt. The state fire service, Civil Defence Corps and the police mobilized to put out the fire at about 4:05am, witnesses said.
