Three teenagers, whose ages range from 13 to 14 years, have been arrested by the Vigilante Service of Ogun State (VSO) for alleged involvement in 11 burglary attacks at the Ago Iwoye area of Ijebu, Ogun State.

The gang members – Quadri Ayannuga, 13; Tobi Fashola, 13; and Fashola Nurudeen 14  –  were arrested by officers and men of the VSO on routine patrol in the Olopomerin and Abobi areas of Ago Iwoye, according to a release yesterday by the organization’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Moruf Kolawole Yusuf.

Yusuf disclosed that the gang had been fingered to be responsible for attacks on 11 foodstuffs and drinks shops in the area before nemesis cut up with the members at about 13:50 hours of November 1, 2017.

They have been handed over to the police at the Ago Iwoye divisional police station for further investigation and possible prosecution.

Yusuf assured residents of the town that the VSO, under the command of Soji Ganzallo, would continue to complement the efforts of the police in combating crimes in the nooks and crannies of the entire Ijebu area, and in Ogun State in general.
