Bayelsa State Police Command has subjected three officers seen in a viral video attacking a civilian with a stick over expired vehicle particulars to orderly room trial.

The trio of Inspector Agip Teiwei, Inspector Bedford Emolade and ASP Peter Frank reportedly committed the act at the Akenfa axis of Yenagoa, the state capital.

Police spokesman in the state, SP Asinim Butswat, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, said the Commissioner of Police, Ben Nebolisa Okolo, had ordered the Provost Marshall of the command to try the policemen.
