Three of the seven aspirants hoping to be governor of Benue state have bowed out of the race for a ticket of the People”s Democratic Party.
They stepped down as the party primaries got under way in Makurdi.
They are:

At the moment, voting is ongoing peacefully at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi.
