Three personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have been reportedly arrested for allegedly shooting two students of Senior Secondary School Life Camp in Abuja.
The personnel were said to have been drafted to the school for the ongoing SSCE external examination in the school when the incident happened.
The two students were said to be receiving treatment at the Gwarinpa Hospital.
Following the shooting, some of the students allegedly vandalised three patrol vehicles belonging to the NSCDC in protest against the attack on their injured colleagues.
Josephine Adeh, FCT police spokeswoman, confirmed the incident but said police had restored peace to the affected area.
She said the CP, Haruna Garba, had ordered an investigation into the incident.
