3 months of blackout in Borno State

Electricity is one of the basic necessities of every man. It serves a lot of purposes and functions in our everyday lives.

Unfortunately, Borno State is experiencing a complete blackout for almost three months now, which was caused by the insurgents, adding up to the people’s ongoing predicaments.

The entire Borno State is in crisis as businesses are in a shambles. The prices of commodities have increased and petrol is selling at N200 per litre.

The temperature of the state is very hot and hostile, which makes it unbearable for residents and students in the state.

The situation is quite appalling and residents are calling on the state and federal governments to immediately come to their aid.

Governor Zulum is working tirelessly to restore power supply to the state.

I am calling and appealing on both the state and federal governments to put all hands on deck to find a lasting solution to this recurring problem.
