3 Lagos cultists arrested in military uniforms

Detectives from the Lagos State Police Command have arrested three suspected members of a cult group, Aiye confraternity, Chioma Ramond (32), Headwin Ugoji (39) and Afic Ayiba (24), for allegedly invading Oke-Odan community in the Isashi area of Ojo LGA.

The police said the cultists attacked their victims while dressed in military uniforms.

Recall that three persons were hacked to death on New Year Day by suspected cult members in Ijanikin, a suburb of Ojo.

The command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest, said they were arrested on Saturday while disturbing the peace of the area.
