Three persons have been killed at Uselu-Nahor community in Uhunmwonde LGA of Edo State following a leadership crisis.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday when gunmen attacked the victims at their duty post.
Among the victims, our correspondent gathered, was the chief security officer of the community, identified as Osasu.
It was further gathered that the victims were at their duty post at Ahor Kara collecting parking fee from vehicles when the gunmen opened fire on them, killing them on the spot.
Sources attributed the development to a lingering leadership crisis in the community.
The states police spokesperson, SP Kongtons Bello, confirmed the incident, saying, “It is true but I am yet to get the detail of the incident.’’
