Three members of the Irigwe ethnic group were on Sunday night killed while three others sustained injuries during an attack in the Hukke village of Miango District, of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau.
Daily Trust had last week reported how four members of the same Irigwe group were also killed after a herder was shot dead at Kafigana in Jebu District of Bassa LGA of the State.

Malison Davidson, the spokesperson of the Irigwe ethnic group in the state, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, said the incident happened on Sunday night when gunmen invaded the village and started shooting sporadically.
The spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the incident, saying police personnel had been deployed to the area.
He added that the command was making effort to arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
Davison further gave the names of the deceased as Barry Ive, Isaiah Gado and Weyi Chohu.
