Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have rescued three female kidnap victims.
The command’s spokesman, SP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the victims were abducted at gunpoint on their way to the hospital.
He explained that a hunter who sighted the kidnappers and their victims in the forest in Egbudu-Akah community in Aniocha South LGA reported to the police and that the DPO of the area mobilised personnel and vigilantes to the bush to rescue the victims.

He added that in the process, there was a gun duel between the kidnappers and the security operatives which resulted in the arrest of one of the suspects. He listed items recovered from the suspects to include cutlasses, two Tecno phones, a solar panel, a power bank, charms, two torchlights and food items.
