3 injured in accidents on Airport Road

The accidents occurred at Pyakasa Junction, opposite Obasanjo Space Centre and Dantata Fly Over Bridge near Nigeria Judiciary Institute.
According an eye witness, the first accident, which occurred at about 8.30a.m., involved a commercial taxi and Peugeot 406 belonging to the Nigeria Air Force.
The witness said the cab driver, food vendor and the occupant of the car, were seriously injured and had been taken to Federal Staff Hospital on Jabi Airport Road for treatment.
Police and road safety officials were at the scene of the accident to control traffic and clear the debris.
The second accident at Dantata Bridge, involved four vehicles – a CRV jeep, a Toyota Camry, a Toyota Corolla and an Acura jeep.
FCT Sector Commander of FRSC, Mrs Suzan Ajenge, confirmed the incident. (NAN)
