3 illegal loggers arrested in Edo

Officials of the Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) have apprehended a three men over illegal logging in Edo State.

It was gathered that the men were caught while felling and transporting trees at a forest reserve in Imoga community of Akoko-Edo LGA.

Speaking with journalists on the development, Edo’s PUWOV Commander, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie, said the suspects were apprehended following a tip off and had been handed over to the police.
