3 feared killed in bloody clash in Lagos Community

Tension now hovers around Fagba community in Lagos as suspected Hausa youths and those from Yoruba ethnic groups engaged themselves in a bloody clash.

Three persons were said to have lost their lives while a truck loaded with cows was allegedly set on fire at Fagba area of Iju, Lagos.

As at press time there is heavy fight between the two groups and dangerous weapons, such as arrows, daggers, ,charms and others are freely used.

It was gathered that some residents have started to relocated out of the area for fear of being trapped in the cross fire.

A witness said trouble started when some protesters who had earlier blocked the road tried to extort money from the truck driver who resisted .

The truck driver was said to have drawn out dagger and attempted to stab one of the protesters which infuriated other protesters. Many people were injured while three persons were killed.

Phone calls to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi as well as text message were not answered as at press time.

  • Heavy shootings at Lekki toll gate 

In the mean time, massive shootings between urchins and security Operatives is currently ongoing at Lekki toll gate area of Ajah, Lagos State.

It was learnt that before the shooting started the Close Circut Cameras were shutdown.

It was not clear if the shooting at Lekki is between urchins and police or between diehard #EndSARS protesters are soldiers.

Cars heading to Lekki and Ajah were said to have hastily made u-turns while those still on their way home from work scampered for safety.

Some of them even jumped into nearby drainages to hide, while those who could not got stocked in the cross fire.
