Nasarawa West Senatorial District comprises of five LGAs – Keffi, Karu, Kokona, Nasarawa and Toto. Adamu, has been representing the district since 2011.
Our correspondent reports that though the trio is yet to formally declare for the race, they have been making subtle moves toward that.
Daily Trust had last week reported that there has been confusion over the continued occupation of the Senate seat by Adamu after his emergence as national chairman of the ruling party.
Aside Adamu, Senator Abubakar Kyari, a sitting senator was also picked as Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC.
Lawyers are divided over the continued occupation of the parliamentary seats by the duo. It was gathered that Barr Magaji has been reaching out to the party’s stakeholders.
Our correspondent learnt that Wadada had already toured the five LGAs that make up the senatorial district.
On his part, the minister of State, Science and Technology is also said to be pushing to occupy the seat.
