3 die, many missing in Boko Haram ambush

Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents ambushed travellers on the highway between Longomani and Musini near Ngala in Ngala LGA of Borno State late Thursday, killing at least three persons including a soldier while many others are missing, a civilian JTF source said. According to the source, the insurgents went away with six pick-up vans loaded with foodstuff and other items.

Security sources told our reporter that three persons were killed while five vehicles including a truck loaded with food items, two golf cars and others were burnt.
