3 die in Lagos helicopter crash

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the recovery of two dead bodies from a helicopter crash in Lagos today.

South-West spokesman of the agency, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye said two were injured and have been rushed to the hospital.

The unidentified helicopter crashed inside the Lagoon around 3 pm.

The incident happened behind Oworonsoki Police State. Eyewitness account revealed that the helicopter made a loud bang before plunging into the ocean at the Third Mainland Bridge.

Rescue efforts are said to be going on at the scene of the incident.
