The police have arrested five suspects, Joseph Raham, Steven Osamua, Divine Okoata, Lucky Emmanuel and Idahosa Omoregbe, over allegations of cultism and armed robbery in Ekpoma, Esan West LGA, and Aduwawa area in Benin City, Oredo LGA, Edo State.
The spokesman of the police in the state, Chidi Nwanbuzor, said three of the suspects were arrested at the Tipsy Fella Club in Ekpoma following cult activities in the area and that the two other suspects were arrested in Benin after stealing a phone from their victim.

He said the suspects made statements and confessed to being members of the Black Axe secret cult.
