The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned three men, Onikoro Donald (27), Ayomiposi Ayodeji (23) and Oluwatope Oluwafemi (25), in an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged possession of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp.
The prosecutor, Inspector A. V. Motorola, told the court that the defendants on May 25, at about 11am had in their possession weeds suspected to be hemp.
Counsel to the defendants, Barr Tolu lope Bewaji, urged the court to grant his clients bail in liberal terms.

The Magistrate, K.O. Awosika, granted bail of N50,000 with one surety each in like sum and adjourned the case to June 27.
