3 bandits killed as soldiers raid hideout, rescue 7 in Kaduna

Soldiers have gunned down three suspected bandits while rescuing seven captives following a raid on bandits’ camp at Kurmin-Kare village in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State.

City & Crime had reported that three herders who went to sell their cows alongside four women were returning to their village when the bandits flagged down their pickup van and whisked them away.

A vigilante member, who was part of the operation that led the soldiers to raid the bandits’ camp but preferred anonymity, said the raid was carried out on Saturday, around 4:12pm.
