Three suspects have been arrested for allegedly impersonating Hajia Sefinat Usman-Ododo, the wife of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, over a fake programme to defraud the public.
It was alleged that the suspects printed and sold forms with the inscription “Kogi State Cooperative Federation of Nigeria” for a non-existent empowerment programme, claiming it was affiliated with the first lady.
The suspects were arrested in Lokoja on Tuesday after an agent claimed to have interest in the project and bought one of the forms.

The state’s police spokesman, SP Williams Aya, who disclosed this, said, “The case is under investigation.”
