Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested three suspects over alleged cultism and armed robbery in Edo State.
The suspects Egharevba Kenneth, 34, Paddy Edokpolor, 44, Sunday Oyeribhor, 31, were arrested by the operatives of Ikpoba Hill Division, Benin City, while conducting stop and search duty along Benin-Agbor Road.
He said the police during the stop and search, intercepted a Mercedes Benz C-180 Saloon car with registration number MUS 249 GN and arrested the suspects who were the occupants of the vehicle.
Chidi said during the search, one locally made Barrette Pistol, assorted charms, as well as a facemask and head warmer were recovered.

He said Egharevba Kenneth Paddy Edokpolor, 44, made statements and confessed that one Biggie, the son of the Ohenof Iyanomo community hired them to wreak havoc in the community.
Chidi said suspect Sunday Oyeribhor confessed to the crime and informed the Police of the arrest of Biggie by the DSS in Benin and was still with them.
He said investigation had commenced.
