The Heritage Africa Village Square, Kado, is a beehive of activities as 300 exhibitors are showcasing their businesses at the 2nd Abuja SME Expo with the theme ‘Unlocking the potentials of the Nigerian MSMEs under the AfCFTA: Product Branding, Packaging & Standards.’
Acting Managing Director/CEO, Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), Shehu Abdulkadir, said the Agency conceived the Abuja SME Expo out of its desire to facilitate access to the market for businesses in the FCT.

“The Expo provides an opportunity for businesses to get connected, showcase their products, identify and explore new opportunities in addition to addressing their regulatory challenges through a one-on-one meeting with business regulators. We envision MSMEs in the FCT and beyond playing a bigger role in the economy and driving global trade in Nigeria,” he said.
The exhibitors were seen displaying their wares as about 600 people are envisaged to walk in every day for the five-day fair.
