About 2,880 victims of armed banditry attacks in Zamfara state have befitted from the relief materials donated by the state government, the speaker of the state House of Assembly Alhaji Sanusi Garba Rikiji has said.

He spoke during the presentation of relief material provided by the Presidential Committee on Flood Disaster and Rehabilitation to the Victims of the recent  armed banditry attacks in the state.

He said the people in the state especially who despite the air of recent insecurity that had greatly affected and crippled their activities were still standing strong bearing the destiny that “after every difficulty comes ease”

He then called on all and sundry to continue to fight for peace and ideals of democracy which according to him could not be achieved in a condition of intolerance, unbridled hostilities, anarchy and any other form of lawlessness.

“I believe your presence and intervention will be felt by the government and good people of Zamfara state as it will in no small measure  help in  solving many if not all the challenges faced by the victims especially women, children and elderly,” he added.
