No fewer than 28,000 applicants have applied for 500 vacant positions in Nasarawa State.

The state Executive Chairman, Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Mr Abdullahi Abu Galadima, disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Daily Trust in Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital on Thursday.

He said the ongoing Teachers Service Commission’s computer-based test initiated by the state government had been suspended for some days due to rowdiness.

According to him, the screening exercise is targeted at ensuring that only qualified applicants are employed to improve on teaching and learning in schools across the 13 local government areas of the state.
