The police in Kano State have arrested 27 suspected criminals for robbery and other criminal offences during a round-the-clock operation.
Spokesman of the command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed this to newsmen, adding that stolen items, weapons and drugs were recovered during the operation.

He said the arrest was in line with the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, to all police commands and formations across the country to implement community-oriented policing strategy, application of technology, intelligence-led policing and round-the-clock visibility patrols.
