At least 25 young Nigerians have been selected to serve as members of the European Union Youth Sounding Board to Nigeria.
Among them is Ismail Bello who is also the CEO of Yes-Hub in Katsina. The youths are to provide advisory on promoting youthful innovations, enterprise and government in Nigeria.

According Bello in a statement, the selected youths will have their inauguration in September in Abuja.
He said, “As a member of the Youth Sounding Board, I will advise the EU Delegation in Nigeria on youth participation and empowerment and on a broad range of topics such as employment, education, training and entrepreneurship, among others.”
The Board also aims at creating opportunities for young people and youth organisations to express their views, connect and exchange.
It will allow young people to have an influence on the policy and programmes of the EU in Nigeria, and will thereby contribute to make EU action more participatory, relevant and effective for young people in Nigeria.
